So the starter on my chopper developed a "dead spot". Engage the starter, nothing happens. Put it in gear, roll it forward and then it starts. I take the starter to an electrical shop and they say "bad solenoid". So I send it to the manufacturer for rebuild. Fast forward 3 weeks to today, I get it back and put it on. 3 rd start. Same issue. No noise at all from the starter. Roll it forward in gear and try the starter again and it works. An ideas?
