Crankcase Breather Ideas

I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good crankcase breather so the little amount of oil that drains off onto my air filter and usually blows onto my exhaust can drain down through a steel braided line and into a filter behind the engine. I was also gonna get the S & S dual runner so it would have to work with that air cleaner. Thank in advance for any suggestions!

If your blowing oil or dripping oil from the air cleaner, you might want to double check the oil level. This is covered in your manual for the correct level from the top of the neck, this was happening to my neighbors 03' Pitbull until we drained it down a little to the manuals suggested level.

Yea, that's what I was thinking also. I was putting the 3 qts the maual suggests in it. I think I might drop it down to about 2 3/4 qts and see what happens. I was still gonna get a breather kit so if it continued to happen it wouldn't spray all over the exhaust.

My 03 Mastiff blew so much oil I was ready to get rid of it when the 05 RSD's came out. There are many threads on here on the breathers options for the 04 and older bikes. What a pain in the ass they were.
I used a puke can on mine but it just filled up and caused the same thing, many just vent to the bottom of the bike but that makes a mess also.

A little less oil and I cut down a Maxi-Pad and stuck it to the bottom of the air cleaner cover. Catches any small amount and I change it once a year. Took care of any blow-by.
