Cracked exhaust

Hello gang. I recently removed the heat shields on my ‘07 Mastiff. Not sure if you would call it the top exhaust or the rear exhaust. I removed it because it had exhaust wrap under the heat shield (that I assume was to keep the heat down to not melt the battery cover plastics) that had broke loose causing higher heat making the plastics melt a little. So I was going to replace the wrap and found that the pipe had a major crack in it. So I’m not sure if it was wrapped to hide the crack when I bought the bike or what. But my question is, can this be fixed or am I going to have to buy a new exhaust? I’ll add a pic so y’all can see it. Thanks for any help/advice.

Take it off and find a muffler shop that can repair it. Lot's of people wrap the exhaust to help with the heat, especially the rear cylinder.

Ive had mine crack but not in that location. Its always where they either tie together or bolt to the trans. Like Paul said, it can be fixed, but pretty good excuse to buy a new set!
