Confused on engine model

Okay, got a '08 K9 and trying to get the right BDM service manual and S&S service manual. BDM one is easy, but the one from S&S????? I saw on another thread the engine is a super sidewinder, but at the top of the head it says Super Stock. Another thread said if the engine code ends in X it's the 117 sidewinder. Okay so is the 117 a super stock or sidewinder? If its the sidewinder then why does the engine say super stock? Oh well, weather here is great and went for a nice ride after work today.

I am almost certain it is a Super Sidewinder Plus. I believe the 117" is a member of the Super Sidewinder Plus family which are the 111", 117", and the 124" engines.

Just order the manual for the SSW+ motor from S&S. Your new motor is and EVO bottom with a Twin Cam top end. Good motor by the way.
