I really have no horse in this race..........Only trying to help.
I stopped doing carbs for several Bourget dealers when they started using those BOGUS pointed air cleaners(big profit for them).Reason being the performance drop in the power with them.I've seen too many on the dyno make a motor lose big power(15 hp +).
If you want to wear your motor out prematurley,use a screen for an air cleaner,or better still,throw a hand full of sand in it.
