just pack it like you would any other bearing set. I used a full synthetic grease like you would for a wheel bearing when I put mine all back together when I switched the pulley out. Cleaned it out really well with brake clean and re-packed it. Then I put a nice film of the same grease all over the rod before I pushed it back through the tranny. If you don't have grease in there, it can bind up.

Pack the hole and push the rod in it. Rod ends should be torn up not smooth like a ball bearing if chasing a noise like I'm guessing.

Just wanted say thank you for your help I greased the ball and ramp I greased the clutch rod it still was squeaking I found that my rear tire wasn't aligned properly so the belt was rubbing I realigned the tire no more squeaking
