Anybody know what grease I should buy? I am planning to replace my clutch cable and the how to calls for grease. I am not sure which grease to buy. Please help!!!

not really, just recommend a good waterproof grease. although it more than likely will not get water in it anyway. valvoline makes a good grease, many good brands.

The last clutch cable I bought had the inner cable teflon coated and I think they said no lube needed.

Any kind of waterproof grease. I use Mobil Synthetic, it's red. I also use some black stuff from Advance Auto. It's really not that serious what type you use, as long as it's waterproof.

As stated, that nylon cover is the inner lube. I use that messy, copper anti seize. I also lube the lever perch handle pivot, along with the pivot pin. That is where that clutch side end is attached. I pack that lever hole where the cable's pivot end is at the lever. You use a little where it needs it. A Q-tip works well. It's thick stuff, so the packing there of is how you can get it to flow into the pivot pins or the pivoting areas in general.
