i have seen tacolocos postorial on clutch adj.and i need to get to the adj not on the cable itself but outta this thing ,,yet i have no clue how this cover comes off to get to the adj nut,can someone enlighten me please

yes counter clockwise is correct and i found a little trick that I had mentioned before because mine was too snug to turn by hand so I found one of those rubber tipped door stops laying around my house and ground off the screw shanked tip flat and placed the rubber tip in one of the grooves and tapped the other end with a small hammer, worked like a champ and didn't damage or scratch anything. Very cheap and valuable tool

Jimi, clutch cable adj comes from the cable adj on the down tube.
Good to check the clutch rod anyway and as Dogvet says lube it with anti-seize.
Release the tension on the cable adjuster first and while your at it lube your cable.
Spin that scalloped cap off (you can tap it with a rubber mallet to help) and when you put it back on use some more anti-seize on it.
Unscrew the clutch rod till you can pull it out. When you replace it play with how far you screw it in after touching the plate. You will know what I mean when you do it as you can screw it in till it touches or get pressure, a small difference in how far you screw it in. Screw it in till you hit the pressure plate then back it out 1/4 turn and lock it down.
This is something that if off by a fraction can make all the difference in your clutch feel so play with it and adjust till you get the feel you want.
Adjust cable to 1/8th in. at the clutch handle and your done.
Easy to do!!!

Have fun,
Ray

i got my bike back from service about a month ago and since could never get neutral whereas b4 i always could find it,i just figured they put shit trans fluid in there and that made the difference, but i noticed yesterday while tryin to back my bike up with the clutch fully engaged it had quite a bit of resistence so it was during this brainstorm i had realized it wasnt shit fluids in my trans but that my clutch was outta adjustment,so with the deed being done now i can find neutral and all is well in baltimore once again...think i will go have a pit beef sandwich at big falls now...................
