Hi guys,

I looked at the instructions provide it here at the forum, when I pulled everything apart I noticed no allen screw adjustment on my bike. there is a long bolt and that it. Does the 2003 Bulldog have adjustment? or is just the cable.

Thanks

Edwin

You have the old H-D type tranny. Pull the primary cover and the clutch has a lock nut with a bolt that has a allen end on it. Loosen the cable adjustment all the way in . Loosen the jam nut on the clutch, Now take a allen and turn until the lever starts to move or the ball contacts the ramp. Once that happpens, back it down a 1/2 turn and while holding the allen tighten up the jam nut. Then take the rest of the slack out via the cable adjustment till it's 1/16 or 1/8 from the full out. It needs to have a little play. There are threads about this adjustment and some diagrams. You just need to do a search on clutch adjustments. Here vis a link and if you scroll down on the thread there ishttp://www.bigdogbiker.com/forums/drive-train/3585-adjusting-clutch-03-a.html a link to a video
