This happened to me at biketoberfest, 05 Bulldog 20,500 miles, snapped tranny input shaft while accelerating. Gonna make a another thread to explain.

Your '05 has the old Main shaft that had problems with the hardening process from the vendor. The numbers on the transmission will be from 2004- early 2006. Cost of Main shaft is $280 + shipping from Baker. Take a look at my thread if your in need of a rebuild....
