Chrome wheels

I use pauls at our auto restoration shop. They do good work.
I do not however have any experience having wheels done with them.
If they do wheels as nice as some of the horrible pot metal we send them it should be good.

Been thinking about doing the same, if or when you find someone to do the work, I'd be interested in the costs.
Thanks!

I have used Brown's and Meclec. Both due excellent work. Meclec is less expensive, especially if you are on the west coast.

I went a different route. I waited till bigdogpartskingpin or shovelhead kicker (both from eBay) had a set of NEW chromed wheels that were just like my polished aluminum's.

I missed the 1st set but I won the second set at I think $1400. This was everything chromed but the pully.

I then turned around and started taking my polished wheels (near perfect shape) to swap meets. I had interest right off the bat from shops in the area that build custom bikes. I ended up selling my take-offs for $800.00.

This in essence cost me $600 for the chrome wheels. A very, very good buy.

I have seen these 2 sellers sell chrome wheels as low as $1100.00, so be patient.

example, look through here and you will see some chrome wheels at $1200

Meclec did my rims and they did an excellent job. Browns is good to but they dont do Wheels...

I jus dropped off my wheels and various parts to chromemasters in nashville. They have done numerous orange county choppers and tons of big dogs. Very reasonable on their prices.
