Chrome Master Cylinder

I'm wanting to chrome all the controls this winter but I'm concerned about the master cylinder roller burnished bores getting damaged by the process. Anybody else had theirs chromed without problems. Any suggestions on who to use?

Any chromer worth a hoot will want you to leave the master cilinders somewhat assembled I had both mine dun and didnt even rebuild them until this fall when I just kitted them as maintenance

I used Meclec on mine. Did an excellent job. I installed a rebuild kit when I got it back.

I used Brown's Plating in Paduca KY. They are good, a little pricy but great results. Has to build mine when I got it back

Every think about polishing them to a show quality finish and then zoop seal them? I want to do my polished aluminum and then seal it all.

Never heard of zoop seal. I will check it out, sounds like a good option for some parts.

Curious if anyone here has any experience with this. Until I can come up the the $6k to have permenant zoops seal for all my bits this could be an alternative

My neighbor has his done a few months ago, he disassmbled himself had them chromed put back together, no problems. He used someone in California.
