Is that brace something you can buy and use on the stock forks?
yeah I'd be interested in hearing about that - I don't run a front fender either although with a prostreet I guess its not as much of an issue??

AL Reminds me of the old site. I have enjoyed looking at your projects over the years.Good job

Thanks guys here's a few specs.Front end is 11 over with 5 deg. rake. Its a solid front end but can be dismanteled if necessary. It comes with a shim kit to basically get a tight fit then finish with the neck bolt. Nice thing will be that this fucker has drains and a fill points. No more removing front end for a fluid change. The fork brace is on the same 2-3/4 bolt pattern as the stock big dog lowers however it bolts to the fender mounts so you guys would have to remove your old brace and figure a way to cover them up or machine off? Can't remember its been so long since I had the stock front end.

Very nice job and great to see some different takes on the BD. Front end looks great, but I have to admit, I loved the Springer even more as far as the looks.

Now get it out on the road and enjoy the smiles and miles.

Al,

Do you know if it would possible(safe) to just remove our front fender and cover up the holes since we already have a fork brace?

Sure that would be no problem and actually the fender mounts on the stock unit are bolted to the lower legs. All you need to deal with would be the drill and tap holes that would need to plug to hide.Trust me I don't think the fender and brackets add that much integrity to it.

Once you remove the fender bolts under the fender it will allow you to take off the fender with the fender struts... do it this way so you don't scratch the paint and just rotate the fender back and out of harm then off.

Then you need to remove the fender mounts
