will the voltage regulator being unplugged from the block while riding cause any damage to anything. i washed my bike last night and forgot to plug it back in after cleaning the oil mess around.

Shouldn't just make sure when you plug it in everything is clean and some die-electric grease wouldn't hurt. Also on mine I put a small bead of silicone around the top of the male plug (on the engine case) then hooked it back up. helps keep mositure out and the plug from coming loose. When you hook it up check your volts at the battery when running. At idle should be over 14 volts. Also your battery will probabley be a little low since running the bike with the VR unhooked had you running on just the battery. Might want to trickle charge that as well. Also keep it on a battery tender.

Over and out. V

I just wanta ride
At least you cought yours early. My story I was in Myrtle beach and did the same thing but rode all day until I killed the battery and it was 5pm no dealers for a battery so I had to get an elcheapo at walmart to do. But what V said is great advise!! :2thumbs:
