Anyone plan on doing this in August or September.

I live in KC but never have done it, but REALLY would like to.

Thought it would be cool to get all the local BigDoggers out there together!

I lived in Wichita for 5 years, then KC for 5 years and rode through the Flint Hills a number of times.

It's an awesome ride, especially at or near sunrise/sunset.:whoop:

Hope you enjoy!

couldn't agree more... my favorite time is May, they burn all the big pastures in April and spring greens it up in a hurry.kinda reminds me of a million acre golf course.(never golfed a day in my life) but it looks like a manicured lawn.

pitbullkc if you ever make it down i'll meet you there. i live on the north/west edge of the flinthills about1.5 hrs from cassoday. been there several times, good food and people.

It's only 50 miles for me from Wichita but it's a good ride and a fun time. Make sure you bring a kick stand pad as you may have to park in the grass. :2thumbs:

Awesome.
I would like to go probably in September just cause right now its about as hot as burnin' fields!

I was hoping by starting this thread, we could get an idea of how many (if any) would like to set up a date to go.

I just like my Freedom
Its a good time, but make sure to get there EARLY! By 11-12:00 things are winding down. I suggest as early as possible. Bikes start to roll in around 7am. We showed up around 11am last time and most everyone was rolling out or getting ready to do so. Good ride, hope to see ya there. I'm the furnace flamed Pitbull.
