is this 90 degree elbow supposed to have some slight play ? Anybody familiar with 2011 mastiff ? The diagram is from an 08 manual and shows an o ring.

That is not stock they didn't use the 90 degree elbows. I assume if it's not leaking you are fine - It is probably a flair fit so there might be a little play in it.

Well I was shining the billit and noticed it. I haven't had any issues and I bought it brand new with 21 miles on it. These 21 miles were put on it from Big Dog road testing and if they had any issues they would put 10 more miles on it to ensure problem solved. So I know its original.

97 hmm 90 degree elbows may not have been invented or at least outlawed since most of Europe is half blind ! Hence the gigantic license plates that can be seen from outer space but ya thanks

It is tight and no issues. Was curious about it.

I got mine in an S&S rebuild kit for the G Carb, works better than the straight one. It moves but its tight, not as tight as a bull fogs ass (which is supposed to be water tight) but not loose to where it will spin around.

Roger That... it moves but not freely loose.... no leaking problems at all so far.

Yes, it came with an O-Ring too.

They have a flared end and o-ring seal encased in a stainless fitting and the fitting is pressed into the brass inlet fitting.
The o-ring allows them to move.

Just make sure you hose clamp is choked up enough and tighten down. I have no issues out of mine.
