Carb adjustment

2002 Pitbull Was Dyno and ran great 295 Int 74 main

Changed out S&S air intake to S&S Single bore Dual filter and went with the BR 2-1 exhaust. Followed the HOW to on Carb tuning. Up my int to a 31, same main.

seems to have a problem at low rpm when you give it good twist of the throttle, bogs down then kicks in.

Is this just an accelerator pump adjustment? Turn counter clockwise to give more fuel and if turned to far to compensate, up the size of the main??

its more likely to be your int jet I would say rather than your main. Could just be the acc pump though so try that first.

bogging down when you get on it could be too rich. How do your plugs look?

when tuning your carb its better to have the acc pump off. The acc pump is only really required when you blast the throttle open.

I'd go back to the .295. Accelerator is only for initial twist of the throttle but check it anyway. Should be out about 1 1/2 to 2 turns.
