car crushed my front fender

Today while out for a nice little ride I stop in Greenville Harley to shop for a tour seat and check out the bikes that show-up on Saturday. I was in backed-in a car spot next to a tree for shade....across and farthest from the front door. I was in the store for 15min. When I came out to try on a seat I could not believe my eyes. It was obvious someone had back into the bike. There was a brand new truck on the other side of the tree with a suspicious dent in his brand new bumper at the very height from the ground. He and his old lady came out....I confronted them and they denied it. She got real bitchy. They said the dent was there when they bought the truck and the dealer knock-off $300 because of it.

A very remote chance it wasn't them. Who ever it was I hope they rot in Hell :angry: I could have been worse, but the $500 to replace the fender killed my seat budget. :angry::angry::angry:

This bike has 200 miles on it....2 weeks old. My last two bikes were at all kinds of rallies, parked in the dirt around bikes, 18 wheelers, you name it.....14yrs on one, 9yrs on the other....never so must as a spec. WTF

Some one else said "Good thing....You weren't on it" I said "Yeah...because right now I would be in jail for assault and battery". I'm 69 and my alligator mouth can get in the way of my canary ass, but I had 25 lbs on this little weasel, punk.....I could inflicted some damage, but I heard his old lady barking in his ear all the way out of the parking lot for not standing up to me.

PS That sheriff that offered me assistance was right behind me and topped the scale at probably 260

Thanks guys.....actually the picture was taken in Daytona. I hooked up with a group of fire fighter from DC 5yrs ago. Here is one more resent...taken 4 weeks ago getting the Dog ready for sale. You can see these last couple yrs haven't been so kind.

Yep, that would pizz me off too. :angry: The world is full of scum bags. We just gotta make sure we try to do better than the way they do. This world is full of azzz holes just look at he way they drive!!

May I say very fortunate with a dent that huge it did't dump it off the kick stand and cause tremendous damage.

If I were in your shoes I would do 1 last thing.
See if you can put a flyer up at the dealer
offering a $500 reward. Someone may have seen
it and not reported it for any number of reasons.
Cash can sometimes be a motivator.
If you get the scum bag your still out $500 but
have the satisfaction of getting the fucker.:2thumbs:
