Can I Put a Big Dog kickstand on?

Quick question Big Dog owners, can i relocate my kickstand in the same place

their at on Big Dog. I have a AIH. Thanks

I wish I had more money.
I think Raywood put one on his 03 Mastiff. Maybe if he sees this he will post us up a photo. I'm going to do this as well.

Well the big deal is that the frame plate might not have enough material for the threads to catch.

The oil tank is there, too.

Lots of hurdles.....probably why they put it where it is now.

More work but not in the long run.. weld on a tab/plate in desired location drill & tap repaint...just my 2c

Not sure that is an option for the AIH.

The oil tank is right behind the frame and the swingarm is external to the frame plate.

I put a Hot Match springless kickstand on the 04 Texas Chopper I once owned. Best thing I ever did to get the stock kickstand out from under the primary. It scraped like crazy on the turns and could have possibly caused an accident. I drilled and tapped the frame right in front of the swingarm pivot. Never had a problem. The Hot Match stand was a piece of art itself. Wish I had one on my K-9.

Here is how high it goes on the side plate.



That center bolt hole would be at the swing arm bolt......

You are looking for like a 4" side stand or to space it out over the swing arm bolt.
