I stopped by a local shop that I support and he has this mastiff that's been sitting since 04, parked and untouched. Real rough but a solid platform.. kinda interested in seeing if he will sell it.. i think if i or someone else can get it for cheap enough its a good solid flip..whatcha yall think.. paint and powder coating is horrible, but nothing too major.20170309_123538.jpg 20170309_123601.jpg

Killin me smalls.. look at the sticker on the plates, 14.. the owner of the shop said he parked it long before it expired.. won't start electrical issue.. thing has tons of corrosion all over and all the valve cover bolts are rusted.. had it parked near his pool equipment.. my guess is the EHC is done for.

Pool equipment means chlorine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I work with chlorine! Why do you not put chlorine or chlorination equipment in same room with electrical control panels?????

***********ANSWER*************

Chlorine eats copper faster than a fat lady eating jelly beans! It will devour those copper wires faster than imaginable. I have seen chlorine bucket slightly open and devour 00 copper wire 20' away in 6 months. I know, I installed the wire and did the replac. Plan on a 100% rewrite of the entire bike!!!!!

Zoom in on the valve covers and the trees.. horrible powder coating.. like it was done over some kinda peeling.. it's bad
That would be the chlorine! Chlorination buildings are made out of fiberglass due to chlorine gas (a). Being so corrosive, (b). Chlorine gas can actually penetrate paint and go to the metal, it can also channel down inside between the paint & metal.

Hmm.. looked like it was powder coated over something that was peeling which I know there was no peeling of polished aluminum.. so it kinda got me off guard..
