Burned electrical

I have a 2004 Big Dog Ridgeback the electrical went out on it. I attempted to purchase the main component from Big Dog but they stated the component would take 3 weeks and now after the 12th week I am still waiting. Can I rewire this bike any other way....I am open to suggestions Thanks for any and all responses ....Z
