broken cracked bubbles in pressure release valves

does anyone know how to replace the bubbles in my compression release
big dog 117 s/s 2005
when i took my split tank off i noticed down in the holes
the bubbles were cracked up and broken i wanna say dry rotted
anyone ever changed these

Rubber caps. Yeah they can be replaced. Kind of a pia but it can be done.

I did get the old caps off but now I'm thinking of replacing the compression release valves
The rear one the rod felt loose and pulled right out. Anyone know of a site that walks you through this changing of the release valves
They are electric not manual

It’s not hard to do. There is a tool for that floating around you might be able to borrow. Not sure who has it.

Tool is the only smart way to R n R them. They can be made but they are easy to find on Amazon.

Once the new ones are installed, use a small amount of KY lube on the inside of the rubber cap. They will slide on easier, and the KY will dry when the engine warms up.
