Hi guys, needing some help went for a ride and the damn spike air cleaner fell off which the previous owner installed and luckly he gave me the oraginal but having trouble finding the best spot for the vent hoses. Theres a tube that connects the two cylinders with a spot for a hose and then the backing plate for the air filter has one too any ideas? He only gave me one hose thats about 1ft 1/2 long. The bottom of the crankcase has a hose going to the frame with a filter on it. Its on a 2004 big dog chopper with a 107 s&s and a s&s carb

From what i thought on that year the breather was a short vent line that went from a hollow carb/air cleaner mounting plate bolt from the rear cylinder to the same type bolt on the front cylinder and it had a T coupling (or was one piece) and tied into the back of the carb/air cleaner mounting plate.

Looked it up S&S does make a 1 piece rubber hose the above is the same principal.

You can go to S&S website and download techmanual for the carb. Will show you where the hoses go and how to hook them up. Need spacers for the vent between front and rear cylinders. Manual is worth hving and it's free.
