Awesome Doug is going to send tool out Saturday. Have to get some parts ordered. LOVE THIS FORUM! and everybody on it.
Jim, one thing I don't know if Doug mentioned was to run a tap in the threaded holes and a Die over the screws to remove the old Loctite, If you don't it will effect your torque values when you put it back together

Not sure if I mentioned that in the how to, great point though..:old2:

Maybe you might have one of those O-rings pinched. I didn't have any problem with them when I did mine but I did pay particular attention to seating them. Its very easy to check them unless 1 got cut with the top of the tube.
Here is a tip. You can change those without removing anything.

If you take a razor blade and cut the oring. Then use super glue to glue it after you place it over the push rod/tube.

Note this is commonly how large Orings (like our primary are made) from cord stock.

I have done this many times, and it works very well.

I have done this many times, and it works very well.
We use the o-ring glue all the time on the tugs and dredges. never thought about it on the motorcycles.
