Black plugs

I just got a xxx carb and installed and bike runs fine. No more dead spot no matter what. The bike does seem to be running rich. I changed the plugs and rode for about two hours and the front plug is almost all black, and the rear is slightly lighter. I currently have a .32 int and 78 main. Should I change to a .31 int or is there another adjustment I can make to the carb? Other than this the bike runs fine, thru all gear and pulls strong.

You can try leaning it out a little with the "lean/rich" screw. But don't go too far beyond the center setting.

if your carb is adjusted properly i would drop a jet size, maybe 2. you still want that cardboard bown to light brown color

int. jet is for most of your riding, main jet is for accel., the enricher screw also has fair amount to do with idling and just riding so pretty important that is adjusted correctly to.
