just wanted to update you guys on my opinion. this year i bought a new 08 k-9 from black dog in harrisburg pa and had several problems so far (previous threads). anyway, was having it serviced at rockstar (new dealer in southern nj) and had a few problems still. nothing against them, seems like they are geting their stuff together. the bike had lots of rattles and noises that i am not used to since i am used to riding a harley but just wasn't sure. so recently i decided to call zach the sales associate from where i bought it. he has been extemely helpful through all of the problems that i have been having! last week zach suggested i ride the bike to harrisburg if i had some time (130 miles one way) for he and his mechanic to take a look at it to make me feel better. mind you, this is their busy season and managed to squeeze me in just to satisfy a customer that has been pretty discouraged! they told me its just typical top end noise from the bigger s&s motors which i was not used to and may have gotten some water in the shocks which is creating a small squeak. regardless of the verdict, i am extremely satisfied and he's restored my faith in some dealers. everyone finds time to bitch when they have a problem with one of these guys so i just wanted to find time to give them credit when they deserve it!! i know its impossible for a dealer to satisfy everyone, but its rare to have them go out of their way just to make a customer feel confident in their $30,000 +- purchase! my hat's off to you zach and the rest of black dog!!
