Last night while watching TV with my loving soul mate and better half Stephanie, she lets out a yell. She's a good multi tasker like most women. Anyway, she says Bill Paxton passed away at the age of 61. For some reason, this has been bothering me quite a bit. I'm getting a little concerned as the deaths of loved ones about our age have been multiplying especially in the last year. It's just so sad.:(

I worked in the motion picture and television industry as a special effects and pyrotechnic technician for several years. Bill Paxton was one of the nicest , most approachable and personable celebrities that I had the pleasure of meeting.
The sad news of his passing struck me hard this morning.
I agree with y'all... Treat each day as a gift.

Not getting on my soap box but: I learned a very valuable lesson the hard way back in 1991. I was engaged to Becky Brown, the true love of my life. We were 30 days from our wedding. We lived together and did everything together. We had had a wonderful evening and I woke up that morning early about 4:30am heading to my drilling rig. Becky had gotten up and went to a co-workers before work birthday party at a different office Center Point Energy had. Post wreck photos show cane break and tall Johnson grass blocking the view of looking down the rail road tracks. She was killed on impact. Becky road to rodeos with me and when I was slacking would chew me out saying you drove all the way here and used a day of our life to do it. You be the best you can be at all times and live the day today because nobody promises you tomorrow! We lived by that rule and life was fantastic! I still live by this rule today!

Never heard of Bill Paxton but I don't really watch TV or Movies. Dying at 61 sucks though

My grandfather died at 61, way too young to die.
Best way to remember bill Paxton was terminator, the first one and twister.. but yeah that is way too young.. in 09 my grandpa passed away at 59 due to doctor error, and my dad passed a month before his 50th birthday in August of 2015... cherish the time u have with loved ones.. tomorrow is never promised.

I always enjoyed his work...he had an intensity about him...61 is way to young...I'll be 55 in 42 days and have a whole life ahead of me...god willing.
Rest in Peace Bill
