Big Thanks MJSK9

I've heard and read about members helping members on this forum many times. Today that help was extended to me. I live in FL and was interested in a bike in Indiana. I contacted Mark aka mjsk9, and he sent me his number so we could talk. He took it upon himself to drive 120 miles round trip to put eyes on a bike for a guy he never met. To top that off he wouldn't hear of taking anything for his time and efforts. He sent photos, discussed them with me and even road tested the bike. That is the quality of folks on this forum and I for one I'm very thankful. If I can help anyone it would be my pleasure. Mark, I owe you a meal, (I don't drink), and hope I can pay it forward to someone else in the future. Big thanks to you sir.

I will also mention, @Unsprung is a stand up dude and while he could have made a deal for a k9 in Erie recently he allowed my dad the opportunity to go see it and buy it himself. He very well could have just made the deal with the gentleman himself and had it shipped to FL.

I hope he gets this bike, since blue is the color he wants. It looks great and diamond cut heads!

On the road Wednesday night Eric, may even leave Wednesday midday. The seller even took his ads down, very honorable fellow. Mark thought the bike was clean and well worth the price.
Congrats Gerald, real nice lookin scoot. It is always great to hear members helping members, in today's society it is unfortunately not commonplace, but this forum is great folks genuinely helping one another out. Fantastic!

Hey Gerald.... Thanks for the comments and I was more than happy to do it for you. As I mentioned, fate must have played a part since I am in town this week which is rare since I travel extensively for work. David, the gentlemen you are purchasing the bike from seems like a stand up guy. A few observations about the bike for the members... Diamond cut heads, chrome struts, new front tire with a born on date of 1016, good tread on the rear, chrome "cover" bolts throughout, paint gorgeous blue with subtle graphics and art work in great shape, knarled grips and pegs, clean battery compartment, low miles, sounds great and test rode very well with a very smooth clutch / transmission. You are going to love this bike and as I mentioned, my only requests are that you post some pictures as I would like to see the grin on your face when you see it in person and pay it forward which you already said you would do. Safe travels.... Mark

Mark, I am in your debt...and when my turn comes to pay it forward, I will respond in kind. I appreciate what you did, because after speaking to you, the decision was made and I told David the bike was "sold". We are leaving earlier than planned to get a good turn around and true to his word David took the ad down and has agreed to hold it for me. Thank you and I wish you the best sir.
