big radius

I've got an 05 BD ridgeback, just recently put V&H big radius pipes...
It was too quiet, so I pulled the baffles:cheers: out and cut about 5 inches off and stuck them back in. They sound a little louder but they have a "metalic" sound. I read on a old forum that the BR pipes have that sound??? Anyways has anyone put different baffles in them and did that make it louder or what?
appreciate some knowledge......
Thanks PHoneman85

I took the baffles out and have been running my 05 that way for over a year now. No problems with power and performance and it is 1 loud mother when you grab a handfull of the throtle:2thumbs:

:whoop:What bout those Thunder city baffles??? Are they worth $80 bucks or just leave them out and wake the neighbors....

I wish I had more money.
Aspen used the the BCTB and he has the dyno to prove they didn't do squat over the stock baffles. Not louder no more power nothin.

I would have to disagree...the BCTB ARE louder than the original V & H baffle and they do increase numbers on the dyno...at least they did on my bike.

BCTB are considerably louder and got rid of most of the gurgle, tinny sound on deceleration. Love them on my 2006 K9.

They made a big difference in my 07 K-9. I called V&H and they told me to use BCTB.
BCTB'S a D&M filter and a 78 main jet and it made an incredible difference.
