Big Dog Suspension

Hi guys. I'm looking to buy a Big Dog but I need to check about the suspension first. I live in Mexico and as you might have guessed the roads here pretty much sucks. I have checked the specs about the dogs and found 2 models that have rear suspension, the K9 and Mastiff. My quiestion is can I use these models to ride countryside for about 4 hours straight or am I asking for an early retirement? I have read that you can install air suspension, does that help?

Dam, I have been to Mexico and like you say most all road suck . If you want a dog to use on the country road which are all unpaved you are asking for early for early retirement. The honest to god truth and not making fun of you, but I think you need a dirt bike for that type of terrain. But money talks and bullshit walks, so it's your call, spend it anyway you want.

If the roads arent paved you need a enduro on/off road bike like a Honda XR XL. If they are paved and bad a dog with a suspension will still beat you up. They dont have alot of travel.

Our member Chihuahua lives down there and rides a Ridgeback and even did a 1000 mile trip this last weekend.
