I am a Big Dog owner and I'm on here to talk with others and to access swap meet. I have a 2003 Bull Dog, I thought I posted a picture, will re-do. I also have pictures of the saddle bags will post as well. I do not have the license plate kit, when I had the bags removed the shop took the kit, I can inquiry. The bags are in brand new condition, I have no need for them. I only ride local.

Curious -- your original post said Quick release and the BDM bags were not QR.

If the license plate kit is avail, I would be interested as well but not without it.

Are these the original saddlebags from the early models? If so, that is why they are quick release.

they are quick release real big dog bags and im sure you can use any big dog fender plate kit ,not sure what plate kit you need??? when i got the bike it had a fender plate, i put the original fender back on and the fender frame was used on the frame when i switched it ,i'll ask my mechanic if he has one ,he does a lot of big dog work

These are the second generation saddlebags that have the same demountable bracket as the first generation. The bracket mounts an a set of grooved studs that through-bolt through the fender struts. The studs are essential to mounting the bag brackets. Did you get the studs with the saddlebags? Did you mount them on your bike? If so, you will probably have to remove them and replace them with standard strut bolts. I doubt those studs are available anymore.

You bought a chopper so you could put saddlebags on it? Gezz why not buy a Goldwing with a radio, tour pack and heat shields and be done with it? I mean WTF?
