Big dog Pitbull 2004

hello Guys . I am the owner of the 2004 Pitbull painted in the motif of the destroyed US flag. I read on the internet that this is a painting commemorating the flag found after the tragedy of WTC (ground zero), do you know how can I check if this painting is original? I am the 3rd owner and would like to check it out.
