Been telling a few of you guys that we were going to start running extra discounts on selected Big Dog Motorcycles items, as well as some non-BDM items. Just got the first batch so here you go: :2thumbs:

We're cleaning out some of our older items and wanted to offer up a special deal to BDB Forum Members. The following items are discounted below normal prices and include shipping to all US locations. If you're interested in any of the items … USE THE FORUM PRIVATE MESSAGE process to reserve them. Since these are limited items we have to do this on a first come first served. I'll update the list as items are sold. Once you PM me that you want an item, I will work with you on the method of payment (PayPal or CC over the phone).

This is a new program and it will also include non-BDM items from time to time. The number prior to the item shows how many are available at this time.

Nothing listed with BDM that I can find. I'll check tomorrow though locally and see if the shop has been adding anything.

Hay Nelson give me/us the low down ....I was told some where ,hear ? That BDM made no 07 choppers Yet I have one that states mfg 04/07 ...Does this mean its a 06 leftover? and if not how does it differ from a 06 ...do any parts from a 06 fit? Is the engine the same? frame? Thanks ...will be calling for the clevis soon .

There is a full line of parts and accessories for the 2007 Chopper, but of course nothing for the 2008 model year.

BDM doesn't make it that easy to tell. You have to look up individual part numbers. For example, the motor mount is the same on both the 06 and 07 Chopper. But its also the same part for the 05 BDM Chopper, but the Daytec version is different.

There are definitely parts that are reused between the years on the bikes. But I can't tell easily which ones they are. Can look them up for you though if you had specific questions or ideas. Just let me know

I'm more interested in knowing what they changed or did not change ..frame ,motor ,heads ,etc. I'm thinking ahead Pipes and such like we talked ..sissybar/pegs .

The Chopper I do believe they continued making, the Ridgeback is the only one that they didn't make in 2007.

Guys, they definitely made the 07 Chopper. I have one, titled and registered serial number as a 2007. I can tell you that the 07 Chopper had the S&S rocker boxes and valve train. The 07 Chopper had many of the improvements that the 04 / 05 Choppers needed to have done. Such as Speedo seal ( foam verses rubber) Clutch push rod is larger in diameter, Stronger starter motor. Bad rear fender strut bolts but a factory recall as we all know will get that fixed. I'm not 100% sure if the 06 had all of these improvements but I'm thinking most of them were on the 06. Vickie may know or I'm sure WB can get the definite info for sure.

Also just in case you might not knbow, the Chopper is now officially dead. BDM has decided that it won't bring it back in 09. The K-9 is the last of the chopper style machines along withn the Ridgeback. Seems BDM is moving along the market desire for a stronger taste for the Pro street models.
