OK , my first question is. Did you replace the parts before you had the battery smoking or was it after you had the issue with the battery smoking? Specifically what did you replace? Was it 1 battery, 1 stator, 1 starter, 3 coils and 2 plugs. A smoking battery would indicate and serious short or overcharge. Something is not adding up here especially 3 coils ?

A little more feedback from you and we can try to figure out what is wrong with your ignition system.
