So your saying that the axle caps for the 300 mastiff fits the 250 mastiff from 2006-up? I have interest on the BIG DOG "MOTORCYCLES K-9 REAR AXLE CAPS TIRE TEARDROP STYLE MASTIFF POLISHED" i don't like the spikes they seems outdated on the bike... best regards.I can see how the title might be a little confusing, 250 was probably omitted from the title to not generate additional confusion about all the other 250 bikes it won't fit. 2006 Mastiff is the only one. As the item description mentions, the difference between the 250 Mastiff and 300 Mastiff is just the diameter of the bolt holes. What bolts are on the 2006 Mastiff? Derek would know off the top of his head, I don't know what they used on the 06 Mastiff. 10-24 Button Head Cap Screws were used on the 300 bikes, that I do know. 06 Mastiff use 8-32 like the some earlier models?

Yes they will fit, the question I only have is if the bolt size on yours is a hair smaller than the recessed area might not be identical but if you put new ones on both sides, difference would be rather mute.
