The only recall for 2006 on the EHC was for bikes built prior to march 22nd 2006.It was shutting down a few times then total shut down. Was told Ehc needs replaced. Then was informed this was a recall in 2006
Yeah, if u give us a bit more info, my money says we can get ya all figured out.. and that recall wouldn't have saved u 11 years later.. lol.. just sayin broThanks I appreciate it. Yes I have done research but I'm not so good at computers, and just always being told about this recall.
I will ck some things out on what was mentioned and let you know outcome
Have the battery load tested, sounds like the battery is going dead. If that's good check the voltage whens its running, maybe the VR is badThe bike stalling and then horn goes off and directional blinking then bike shuts down
I'm not going to argue that. Must have a good battery with good connections. I'd look in the headlight bucket also for some crispy wires.Have the battery load tested, sounds like the battery is going dead. If that's good check the voltage whens its running, maybe the VR is bad
This is the best way I've heard, read, whatever...this point made on here, and there are a ton of threads on here to which it is applicable. As it's been stated above, there are a few ways to mimic a faulty EHC but most of the time it's actually not the EHC. For example, a low battery will heavily resemble a faulty EHC. Load test the battery and check all connections first before you start throwing money around. Let us know what you find and the load test results.
