Big Dog/Baker LSD Trans

Energy One
This may be a question for dogvet or anyone else thats tore into there trans. I know my 2004 LSD trans is a Baker OD type trans but what are the variances between the an actual Baker and the Big Dog version if any ? I also know that this trans is in a Jim's case because I was told Baker didn't make the cases back then. I can see the Jim's logo on mine.

The gearsets and shift drum assembly and forks were all Baker (I believe the parts were made by Andrews in those days). The case was made by Jims.
Baker cases can into production starting with the 05 model year as part of the "balanced Drive". The overdrive ratio was.86:1.

Thanks dogvet, so what your saying basically if I bought a complete OD-6 trans from baker in 2004 I would get the same thing I have now minus the "big dog" logo on it correct ?

It should have the Baker logo on the trap door instead of big dog.

What about the RSD 04 bulldog? All Baker?
I can't recall exactly when Baker changed vendors, but if I remember correctly, the sliding gears had solid flanges where the shift forks ride and the later gears had the gear tooth profile on the flanges (machined after gear teeth were cut).
