I can't believe Minnesota didn't make it. Except for the long 9 month frigid winters, the torrential rains and flooding during the spring, the bridges that collapse on major interstates, the poor roads, high gas costs and stupid, obnoxious, dumber than a box of rocks drivers, Minnesota has probably ten or fifteen nice sunny days...just not in a row of course!
You forgot about the mosquitos the size of Eagles.

I live in VT but ride in New Hampshire quite a bit. Franconia Notch and the Kangamangus Hwy are a nice ride especially during foliage.

How YOU doin?
I LOVE riding in Missouri around the wine country. I live in St. Louis and just west of here are some of the windiest up and down roads, which are so much fun! You just have to be careful around Octoberfest since that's when all the wine lovers are also DRIVING home completely wasted in mid-afternoon from the wineries all day.

Shaun, you ever ride The Great River Road North from St. Louis along the MS River? Some nice riding all the way up to LaCrosse, WI and beyond! :whoop::2thumbs:

One of the old ones.
This is another case of allowing a buncha egghead statisticians and number crunchers make decisions. I have ridden all over Kansas because that's where I've lived for 30 years--I have ridden all over Arkansas because it's nearby--I know the difference, and anybody that believes Kansas is a better state to ride in has a mind like lightning---one flash and it's gone.
