OK, I'm going to need to hook up my bike for my girl. Do you guys know where I can get the best prices on a sissy bar w/backrest, passenger pad and pegs?

I was thinking about a 2-up seat, but I thinking the p-pad will be my best bet.

Let the spending begin... :(

Tim, one comment on the p-pad. Glenda doesn't mind it for comfort but her only problem is when I let of the gas or hit the brakes she slides forward. If you look at any profile picture of a bike with the p-pad on you will see it really slops down. The 2-up seat has more of a cup and would eliminate this. Just a thought.

As for parts, Vicky at KC Creations offers 10% and free shipping. Another guy on BDOG just came on and is offering 15% but you pay shipping. I have to say Vicky sends lots of other things in the box to you so my vote is her.
Also, you may want to look at some foot peg extensions. They make longer rides more comfortable.

Save some money for gas! :D

Later,
Ray

What's Vickie's e-mail and number? I'll probably have to order the stuff while I'm gone so it's here when I get back.

That's one of the reasons we get along Blitz....I know where ever you are, there are easy women nearby!

I think vickie is pretty straight forward and I will always give her first crack at my quotes. When I bought my springer and my belt drive she could not get near the price I was paying. When I told her what I was getting them for she said she would do the same thing and even said to me maybe she should buy them from where I was getting them. But don't get me wrong I have still spent a shitload with vickie and will continue to do so.

Thanks, I'm going to drop Vickie an e-mail and get a quote for what I'll be needing.

My two-bits on the seat - don't bother with the p-pad, just go straight with the two-up seat.

Like Raywood said, they are curved differently. My wife was so uncomfortable on the p-pad, even after relatively short rides, that she was reluctant to go. Now that we have the two-up seat, she has actually been bugging me about rides. :2thumbs:

Several of the other members have had the same experience.

BTW, if you do order a p-pad be clear with them which seat you have. The K-9's have been delivered with two different single-rider seats, and the pad is different for each.
