LDO- That sucks you have never been up. At my buddies squadron they get a chance to go up in the F-18 trainer now and then.

They're both red and both have flames and both driven by bald headed drivers :D
Scotts truck is a "Chrome" whore!!!

I always think of Ricks truck as orange but if you say it's red then ok! :D

Here is Rick over in Post Falls, ID at the BD dealers Open House. Knotso and I rode over and checked out the 330 Ridgeback a couple years ago!

Actually I drive the one with the polished stainless sides and it's the newest. I'm Scott, Rick is the other driver of the one with the flames in post #7. Tim is a rep and doesn't actually drive (other than a pickup with 6 bike trailer).

I'm just back to the room from a demo ride day and have to meet some people shortly for dinner but maybe in the next couple of days I'll post a little more about the setup of the entire truck.
THIS IS DEFINITELY SCOTTS TRUCK, THE ONE WITH THE STAINLESS SIDES. SCOTT AND RICK LOOK NOTHING ALIKE ACTUALLY. I 'M PRETTY SURE RICK DRIVES THE RED AND FLAMES RIG THOUGH.

SCOTT I HOPE TO SEE AGAIN SOON. HOPEFULLY AT GETTYSBURG BIKE WEEK OR OCEAN CITY MARYLAND BIKE WEEK SINCE I WON'T BE MAKING THE MYRTLE BEACH BIKE WEEK THIS YEAR. GREAT GUY SCOTT. I HAVE A LOT OF RESPECT FOR SCOTT.

RICK I DON'T KNOW WELL ENOUGH YET BUT I'M SURE HE IS A GOOD GUY AS WELL.

LDO, yes, it was a total of 500 gals total. The big V8 cat sucked fuel at a average of 7 miles a gal. so it needed as much as it could hold.

Showdog going to lauflin for the river run in a couple of weeks?
Yes, I'm leaving here Saturday morning and will be at the Belle on Monday setting up.

BigBlueDog - I don't have anything on my schedule out that way yet. We have Carlisle, Roar on the Shore (In Erie) a few open houses but nothing for Gettysburg or DelMarVa.

Onaprwl - I have a 1984 359 extended hood with a B model 3408 Cat and 5 x 4 two stick. The guy who originally owned the truck in Montana (Otto Christensen) had the cat shop in Boise Idaho build a air-to-air V8 out of a crate and put it into the truck. As far as I know it's the only one in existance. I have a guy in Carrol Iowa who has been trying to buy it from me for 10 years. He has one of the first 379's and I have one of the last 359's. That was the year Pete built 359's till they ran out of cabs and hoods then switched over to 379's. I have it stored in our airplane hangar in Garden City and some day I will make it a single axle and use it to pull my 5th wheel.

I'm glad to hear that the mechanics (Ohmster) got you taken care of in Sturgis.

As for parking your Dog at the Dog Truck, I don't mind at all but........people generally know they can sit on bikes at the display and sometimes they cannot discern the fact that the ones parked out away from the display bikes belong to someone else. I cannot be everywhere all the time and occasionally someone will climb on your bike. I try to keep it from happening but if I have my back turned talking to someone else I might not get to them in time. Not really a problem most of the time as true customers are very careful and take care when getting on and off of a bike but there are those that have no clue what they are looking at and let their kids climb all over the bikes with no regard to the damage they are doing to the paint/chrome/aluminum. These are the ones who will get all pissed off at me when I ask them to keep their kids away from the bikes.

So the short answer is your always welcome to park by my truck but do not throw me under it if I can't get to someone in time to keep them from admiring your bike a little too close :D As for the other truck, I have no idea what Rick's stand is and can't speak for him.

Is one of the Big Dog Trucks going to be at Myrtle Beach Bike Week? If so, where will it be parked? I definitely want to stop by and say hi. Thanks.

Thanks Scott, can't ask for more than that!

You guys can always place a little sign on your seat that says, PLEASE, DO NOT SIT ON OR TOUCH THIS MOTORCYCLE...:D

Actually we will both be there. We will have one of the trucks set up at Hooters @ the Colonial Mall right in front of Bass Pro. Thats on the north end of Myrtle right on Hwy 17. I'm not sure which truck we will be setting up but one will be there and the other will be bringing in extra bikes then we will both be at the truck at Hooters.
