With a serial number from the top gear case M035052 (mine) Is there a way to tell if i have the bad snap ring on the counter shaft.There was an s/b out dont have the letter handy?:job:

According to your case number, that tranny was made on January 3, 2005.
According to SB1054 tranhny cases up to and including W124030 are suspect.

W124030 would have been build on November 12, 2004. that being said, your tranny should be ok.
