an old Biker buddy of mine told me a story once about one of his girlfriends who complained about being uncomfortable on the back of his bike. He had just a regular P-pad for her to sit on and she complained one day after a ride. He went out to the shop, took the P-pad off and threw it in the trash. Next time they were going to go for a ride she asked where her seat was and he told her he threw it in the trash and she could sit on the fender from now on....never complained again according to my buddy That being said I am never drilling holes in my fender to mount something like this guy did...lol
