Just an observation but wondered if any of you have noticed the changes for the 09 models.

1. Now listing 35 amp altenators
2. All models except Ridgeback get the new Compensator sprocket.
3. Only K-9, Mastiff and Wolf available with CLEFI
4. X=Wedge only on Wolf
5. Fuel capacity K-9 4.4 gl, K-9 EFI 4.1 gl (misprint?)
6. Wolf is heavy

:2thumbs:

Hi Ray,
I'm getting a 15th Anniversary K9 in late April. The dealer isn't positive but "thinks" it'll have EFI, which I understand from my CVO Harleys. However, not to sound like a dummy, but what is "CLEFI"?? I always thought that was the little dent in ones chin! lol:lol: sorry...

Also, I wonder why the carb tank would be slightly more capacity than EFI, unless there's a fuel pump with EFI that's in the tank displacing space?

Yes, I sat on a Wolf (haven't ridden one though) and it felt very heavy to me compared to my '05 Chopper...almost like my wife's SE Deuce which seems very front end heavy..not my favorite bike to ride.

That's all I can offer in response...
Ride safe and enjoy life, brother!:hi: :whoop:

OK, another dumb question...
What has to take place if, when I get my new EFI-K9, I want to change out the stock pipes to the V&H Big Radius 2-into-1 set-up?
Any new pipes you get will need to have the bungs for the O2 sensor. Big Radius may already have them and come with a set of threaded plugs if you don't have O2 sensors. I'm sure somebody on here can speak up:hi:

Thanks for the info Ray. Interesting on the Ridgeback/compenstor. Maybe something to do with the 330 tire or maybe they need to use up some old parts:confused:

If the compensator matches up to a Harley style it will allow for different primary gearing I believe :hi:
