I started a new thread for those installing the BD PDM. I had a couple of earlier threads asking for assistance with a few issues. This last one was a difficult find so I wanted to share in the event anyone has the same experience. The last problem resulted in everyting working but the hand control would not engage the starter. With the help of Dave at BDPP I found pin plug J-2, pin-7 on the harness side had a bad connection. It has two leads to the same pin and was over compressed during fabrication. It caused one wire to fail inside the plug, not visable. I have not attached the wire and test everyting yet but it is the wire for the started relay so i think I am in good shape. I did have one other plug, for the speedo the had two wires to one pin that failed as well, but it was not a lead that I needed. Bottom line, if your are experiencing any issues first check to see if it involves any doubled-up leads to one pin. Just an FYI. Al
