What cable upgrade have some of you tried. I tested a set
of 2 gauge cables. Works great, but too stiff. I've been looking
at some Spyke and All Balls 4 gauge kits. Wondering if the 4
will work well also.

i bet something with a higher quantity of strands would work well. Maybe welding leads would work and you can practically tie them in a knot.

I have seen some guys use the gold amp wires with the transparent red cover. In fact Rick P. used it on his bike. He is the main builder at OCC.

What lengths do you need? I can build you some using the 1200 strand wire. It's very flexible, flows better than stock cable and looks good.
Positive will be Red and Negative will be Clear type.

Cool Curtis,

I am going to order two 13 inch cables. Oops, I decided one 12 and one 13 for my 2008 Ridgeback after measuring and not taking a chance. I think both original cables are 13 inch but one can be shorter, if not both.

:whoop:I received my cables on 4/30/2013. What a treat after a long day at work.

Thanks Curtis

PS Installed them yesterday. I did have to run a drill bit through the eyelet for the back of the Transfer case. But, all is good.
