Basic drag pipes?

Hi, new to the site but I've had my BD awhile now....

I have a 2004 BD Ridgeback, left side drive, with the Kerker SuperMeg 2 into 1 exhaust. A previous owner removed the baffle. I tried to get used to it, but not liking the feel or the sound, and can't find a replacement baffle.

Do any pipes designed for Harley models fit the '04 Ridgeback with S&S 107 ci?

Ideally, I'd like a basic set of chrome shotgun drag pipes, long and low, 1 3/4", preferably straight cut, but slash/baloney cut is fine.

what are my options?

I found these Paughco pipes: https://www.paughcoparts.com/products/drag-pipes-for-1986-2011-softails?_pos=4&_sid=23c133727&_ss=r

Thanks!

Welcome from Kansas. There are a few options but they are shrinking all the time. Keep an eye on fleabay for some different sets. For quiet its hard to beat the 2 nto1 Kerker. With the baffle its easy on the ears. Without...dont ride behind Chong! The Blow exhaust is a great one but the baffles make them sound crappy. Kinda loud without

I saw the Blow that's available, not looking to make it louder, just a little more back pressure, so I'd want to run baffles in these Blow shorties...

...40", 1 3/4" shotgun drag pipes would do it :)

I read in another post here, that:

"When I bought my Martin Brother Mudusas. They told me the Bigdog chopper 2003-04 were the same pipes that fit a HD soft tail custom"

...so I'd "guess" that anything that fits an '04 softail custom would fit the S&S 107 ci motor, (is this accurate?)
...and the Paughco have an adjustable frame mount.

also says it fits '86 to '11 HD softails?

Almost all the people who made parts for our bikes only make them for Harley anymore. They will be in trouble when Harley goes tits up. Been seeing many Harley dealers closing their doors. Sign of things to come? My point is the parts manufacturers had the tooling and equipment to make the parts for our bikes ( which was most of the costs) why not continue to make them. History tells you not to put all your eggs in one basket. Good luck finding what you need.

Funny shit LMAO..
Yeah someone before me removed the baffles.. Luckily Knothead had a collector with baffles he sold me .. Although it never bothered me :) . Solo ride I may put the empty one on .. Although I never do a BD event without the baffled pipe now. Hehe .

Strictly (my) eyeball speaking the 2 into 1 can be a good look on Pro Street models using a slick theme look. Choppers probably not. I will say the sound has a good note, Very racey without baffles. JMHO.

A way to tame straight pipes down, sound wise, and decel pop is:
Drill a 5/16 " hole in the bottom of each pipe. 1 1/2" to 2" in from the end.
Install a 5/16" bolt in the hole, threads up, with 1 or 2 nuts , and some washers.
Tighten.
That should give you enough "Back Pressure" to eliminate popping on decel, or waking up the dead, etc. ;)

Thank, you; already did! I searched this site before posting my questions, some of the answers were 10+ years old, and I'm finding many of the parts available back then are no longer available / made.

Cheers!
These are an option for the’04 ridgeback. Santee .50 cal drag style with covers & baffles. I still have a set somewhere in my storage in case I ever get tired of the Blow Exhaust.IMG_7618.pngIMG_7619.png

Thanks!

I quoted a post I found here above, stating if it fits a softail custom / standard, it will fit the ridgeback. I ordered a set of these from Dennis Kirk:

If you read that Santee ad closely it gives a different part # for the softail pipes as opposed to the sportster part#. Was just food for thought. Glad you found something you like. If you don’t put baffles in those definitely try the lollipops like John mentioned. Those pipes like they are not the best for engine performance.

Thanks, I didn't notice the model numbers in the advertisement!
