Just curious, what percentage discount will they offer?

great idea but they wont sell you any parts for your bdm version of a baker trans.

Are you sure they aren’t going to send you to BDM for all those proprietary parts?? They wouldnt sell us anything for my trans in 07!!!

That's what I am saying BB. They wont sell you anything for your BDM pos trans. Dont worry once you snap your input shaft bdm can fix it... just dont mind the down time.

You can send the transmission to Baker to be repaired instead of BDM...They did mine.

Actually BDM rebuilt it an it failed again with in 100 miles. I paid to send it to Baker and they used some used gears replaced the dogs and new bearings. All they ask me for was the cost of the new bearings. Really they replaced a lot of stuff. I do not have the list but I have a post in the transmission thread somewhere that detailed all the parts..
BDM ended up paying for those in the end anyway..Thanks BDM. The transmission has run like a dream. Baker was a little surprised with what they seen for a transmission done a 100 miles prior.
Don't say it would be big money to use Baker...Call them and talk to them if you are having issues. They stand behind the stuff even if they supply it for someone else..They did a awesome job on mine. I did use a couple of ROK straps to hold it down in the crate when I sent it in and they did not come back. I take that as a good trade...:2thumbs:

The straps are awesome. I purchased 2 sets from you in the past so I still had one set. Used them this week at the rally to hold my stuff on the bike. I will drop you a line cause I can use another set or two...
