Jwooky Well-Known Member Jun 11, 2024 #4 Usually a sign that the dog ears are worn if it’s 3rd. 4th are helical cut gets which side load the clutch and can cause clutch slipping if you have worn bearings and main shaft play.

Mr. Wright Knows some things Supporting Member Jun 11, 2024 #5 First, lube the swivel joints on the shift rod. If that don't do it, your more than likely in need of a rebuild. Bearing do wear out. Get a hold of Josh at Gateway Big Dog. He will fix you up.
