Hey, I have a trotta C-4 exhaust. Really liked them at first, but wanna add a deep tone to it. Would like to make it more of rumbler and less of a screamer. Was thinking maybe baffles or the washer trick. Thought it best to ask up front. Didn't want to do a bunch of trial and error hacks and drilling. Heres a sideshot of the pipes/ They're pretty much just straight pipe, no reducing. What do yall think ?

Thanks in advance.

The washer and bolt trick works the best. That's what Big Ciry Thunder uses it works and they have done all the testing and it will cost under 2 bucks you will need to drill the new hole about 3" before the bend at the end of your pipes for the best results you will gain power.

The washer trick would give you a little more back pressure but as far as a deeper tone I don't think it'll make a difference. I've always believed that a larger collector or diameter pipe at the end will get you a deeper tone. Kind of like how a pipe organ works.

Here's a long read. It may explain it.

Okay Paul, thanks for the read. I guess my old 2-1 served as the collector. Guess theres no making it deeper like it was. I may stick some washers in and see how that sounds.
