What tender or charger is everyone using for Braille batteries? The instructions say to use a "braille approved charger". I'm just curious what their approval consists of.

Lots of folks use the "Battery Tender" brand. I just used an 'off the shelf' adapter.

Get a ctec 3300 I have the same battery it has a setting for bikes or cars

I am definitely not a fan of the Braille, mine lasted just over a year and a half, not worth the money. I use a Harley tender.

Same with mine, had the PDM fail and take it out actually Braille covered it under warranty but that one didn't last over 2 years either and you can get that out of the Deka for 1/2 the price.

Got a Deka recently it sat outside overnight and got below freezing and it hit 480 Cranking Amps just out of the box and sitting under 30 degrees all evening.

I have been having luck with the Throttle X, got 1.5 years out of it so far and it was only 80 bucks I believe..

I use the battery tender plus and I get 6 to 7 yrs out of the braille in a 05 ridgeback. Yes I pay more for the braille but they haven't failed me yet. Peace of mind has a high dollar value to me. My bike is always plugged in except when I'm riding. I know that the same company that makes the deka and Harley battery make the braille but when I find something that works for ME...I tend to stick with it. I have blown a $100 difference on much more dumb things in my life.

Agreed whatever is best for the end user. Hell I just buy a new one every 2 years anyways. Not worth $100 to be stranded somewhere. Hell I even keep a battery jump pack if I'm out more than a day, tow trip homes are a waste of money and time!

Not much fits in my tool bag, but there is always a jump pack in there, never needed to use it but just in case..

Thanks guys. I have the original big dog tender that came with my bike. I was just confused when Brailles instructions called for a Braille approved. I just figured it was a marketing tactic to get me to buy one of their $100 plus chargers.
